MISSION

​

Helping Hands University Park’s mission is to help residents remain in their homes as they age. We do this through volunteer services, educational programs and social activities, and partnerships with other individuals and organizations that complement our mission. By engaging a wide range of residents, we enhance the quality of life for the entire community.

ABOUT US

​

HHUP was established as a Town Committee, appointed by the UP Town Council per Section 2-103 of the Town Ordinances. Like other special committees, its composition includes town residents and a Council member.

​

HHUP has an executive committee which meets monthly to discuss programs, virtual and in-person events, numbers of service requests completed in the previous month, and other matters as they arise. All UP residents are welcome to attend these meetings. Monthly minutes are published on the UP website.
